Element x Ronan Lecreurer

In collaboration with contemporary artist Ronan Lecreurer, known for his wind-themed sculptures and modular assemblages, I led the design of select pieces in this unique collection.

The centerpiece is the "Flying Alder," a jacket designed to function as both outerwear and a kite, embodying a playful interpretation of the wind element. Additionally, I designed a practical liner jacket and a tote bag, both crafted from parachute and kite fabrics to enhance the collection's wind-inspired theme.

My responsibilities included concept creation, design sketches, technical file development, fabric and color selection, and overseeing fittings and production for these featured items.

Lightweight :

One of the  biggest challenges was to create a flying art piece that doubles as a wearable jacket. It required meticulous attention to detail to ensure that the jacket remained lightweight without compromising its functionality. We incorporated parachute fabrics, lightweight zippers, and innovative construction techniques to achieve our goal.
